LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
By creating an account, making purchases on Solis’ website, and/or participating in any classes or activities at Solis Movement, you acknowledge on behalf of yourself, your heirs, personal representatives and/or assigns, and any minors in your care, that there are certain inherent risks and potential dangers associated with participating in Solis Movement services and I have thoroughly read and agree to the following:
I confirm that I have been examined by a licensed physician in the last 6 months and have been found by this physician to be in good physical condition and do not suffer from any condition or disability which would limit my participation in this exercise program.
I understand that the room temperature I am practicing in can exceed 110 degrees and I may have an adverse reaction to this.
I will not hold Solis Movement, any partners involved in the business, instructors, fellow practitioners or employees responsible for injuries that I may incur while practicing at Solis Movement. I acknowledge that all postures and classes are guided vocally and any deviations that I make to the guided instructions will be at my own risk.
I have voluntarily enrolled in a fitness program offered at Solis Movement. I understand and am aware that the classes at Solis involve strength, flexibility, and aerobic exercise, including the use of equipment, and are potentially hazardous activities. The class I am taking involves being at risk of injury and I am voluntarily participating in classes with full knowledge of the dangers involved.
In consideration of using all the facilities offered at Solis Movement, I agree that I assume all responsibility of any risks, injuries or damages, known or not known, which I might incur as a result of utilizing the total space provided to me.
I understand that while Solis Movement takes steps to create a safe and welcoming environment, certain risks are inherent in physical activity and cannot be fully eliminated—regardless of the care or precautions taken. These risks may include, but are not limited to, slips, falls, overexertion, equipment failure, or unexpected physical responses such as injury, dizziness, or more serious medical conditions.
By entering Solis’ facilities or using Solis’ services, I agree to take full responsibility for your well-being and to follow all posted safety guidelines, staff instructions, and class protocols. I commit to respecting fellow participants and acting with care to avoid causing harm to yourself or others.
Solis Movement makes no guarantees regarding specific outcomes from participation in our services, nor do we provide medical advice. Any guidance or suggestions offered by our team should not be interpreted as medical recommendations unless given by a licensed professional. We also do not manufacture any of the fitness or wellness equipment used in our space and cannot be held responsible for equipment defects or failure.
By engaging with Solis Movement, you agree to assume all associated risks and waive any right to bring legal claims against Solis Movement or its representatives arising from your participation or use of the facilities.
STUDIO POLICIES

I understand that Solis has a 2-minute door policy and that attendees will be denied entry into class if they arrive more than 2 minutes past class start time and will incur a No Show fee.
I understand that the sun, moon, standard, star and superstar packages are monthly autopay charges and that my credit card will be charged monthly until membership is cancelled through email communication to info@solismovement.ca 2 weeks before my next charge renewal date.
I understand that there are no pauses on any autopay memberships and that I have to communicate my intent to cancel a membership to info@solismovement.ca 2 weeks before my next charge renewal date
I understand that if I cancel class within less than 10 hours of the class start time, or do not show up for a class I am booked for, my account will be automatically charged $15 at the Etobicoke location and $18 at the Downtown location.
I understand that personal items left unattended in the studio are my responsibility and Solis Movement is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
I understand that there is a no in & out policy for both the reformer room and sun room classes.
I understand that all Solis Movement payment packages are non-refundable, non-transferable and have expiration dates.
As a first-time participant in Solis' reformer class, I understand that I must attend a mandatory machine orientation, which takes place 5 minutes before the scheduled class start time. If I miss the orientation, I acknowledge the following:
If I arrive within the two-minute door policy, I may still take the class but do so at my own risk, understanding that I have not received the orientation.
By choosing to participate, I accept full responsibility for my safety and release Solis from any liability related to my lack of orientation.
If I arrive after the two-minute cutoff or do not attend the class, I will not be permitted to participate and will be charged the late cancellation fee as per the standard Solis Studio Policy.
REFUND POLICY
All classes, credit packages, memberships, teacher trainings, workshops, special classes, and retreats are non-refundable and non-transferable including but not limited to Fundraiser Class Credits. No exceptions.
RETAIL ITEMS: Unused, regular-priced merchandise will be accepted for a full refund within 14 days of purchase and will be issued to original form(s) of payment. After 14 days, a store credit will be issued. No returns or exchanges without a receipt. Items purchased on sale or at a discounted rate are non-refundable. GIFT CARDS: All gift cards are non-refundable. No exceptions. Gift cards are not exchangeable for cash, and will not be replaced if lost or stolen.
RETREATS & WORKSHOPS: If the attendee cancels their spot within 90 days, the deposit will be forfeited to Solis, and a 15% late cancellation fee will be deducted from the total refund for all other payments. If the attendee cancels their spot within 60 days, the deposit is forfeited and a 35% late cancellation fee will be deducted from the total refund for all other payments. If the attendee cancels their spot within 30 days, the deposit is forfeited and a 50% late cancellation fee will be deducted from the total refund for all other payments. If the attendee cancels their spot within 15 days, the deposit is forfeited and a 75% late cancellation fee will be deducted from the total refund for all other payments.
